Arnar Grétarsson

Arnar, the founder and owner of ARG architects, completed his BA in architecture at the Iceland University of the Arts in 2016, and also pursued exchange studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In January 2021, he graduated from AHO, The Oslo School of Architecture and Design.
Throughout his career, Arnar has garnered valuable experience working at Úti og Inni, A-Architects, and Ydda Architects, earning recognition and awards for his contributions to three competitions.
Since 2021, Arnar has been a dedicated MA and BA Teacher at Iceland Academy of the Arts, sharing his knowledge and passion for the field with aspiring students.
His approach to projects is unique and inspiring. He draws inspiration from the past and skillfully crafts poetic interpretations for the future. Embracing the history, living beings, and local materials of each site, he creates constructions that resonate with the essence of the place. His architecture serves as a seamless extension of the ecosystem, harmonizing with time and space.
Iga Maselkowska

Iga is an architect passionate about human-centric and practical designs. In 2021, she earned her Master of Architecture from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, building on her Bachelor's studies at the University of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland.
Iga's unique approach involves merging architecture with social sciences, emphasizing the importance of understanding people and their needs to create meaningful solutions. Experimenting with designs through multiple senses, she ensures her creations are both human-centered and functional.
Her work reflects a deep appreciation for natural materials and traditional building methods, inspired by her volunteer experience in the Philippines, where she learned eco-friendly techniques. Actively involved in diverse projects, including La Casa de la Mujer in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and SvalBad - a carbon-neutral sauna in Longyearbyen, Iga has honed her skills and technical expertise.
Her designs embody creativity, sustainability, and a genuine commitment to enhancing communities' lives. With a deep understanding of human needs and the environment, Iga's architecture leaves a lasting positive impact.
